Kofago Dance Ensemble uses the embodied language of dance—rooted in the African Diaspora—to awaken communities, ignite cultural pride, and advance social justice. Through rigorous performance, inclusive education, and dynamic community engagement across New York City and beyond, we hold space for ancestral wisdom, amplify under-heard voices, and build bridges across history and present. We commit to supporting artists and community members alike: securing equitable pay, full year-round rehearsal space, and meaningful pathways for creative leadership.
